Medical Assistance
OVP continues to provide medical assistance during the Enhanced Community Quarantine through Guarantee Letters (GLs) in collaboration with its partner Service Providers (network listed below) for faster service in assisting poor, marginalized, vulnerable, and disadvantaged individuals. The list of requirements will be provided through the Service Provider.

When Clients’ circumstances prevent them from availing services from OVP’s Service Delivery Network, Clients can apply directly with OVP through its Drop Box available from 8 AM – 12 NN, Monday to Friday, at the ground floor of Ben-Lor Bldg., 1184 Quezon Ave., Quezon City. These cases include:
(a) Payment of hospital bills (i.e. services already incurred) and OVP does not have a MOA with the Service Provider that has already incurred the expenses.
(b) The Client faces financial difficulties in traveling to any of the Service Providers in OVP’s network as listed below Medical Assistance outside of OVP’s Service Delivery Network may take longer due to the need to coordinate payment of the Medical Assistance to the Service Provider on behalf of the Client.

Clients may receive medical assistance from OVP only once every twelve (12) months.
Those confined in suite rooms, private rooms or private wards by choice are ineligible. If the confinement in such rooms was not by choice, the Client must request the Service Provider to issue a certificate stating that the confinement was beyond the Client’s control due to any of the following reasons:
(a) Emergency cases
(b) Non-availability of ward services
(c) Cases of communicable disease requiring isolation
(d) Cases requiring intensive care
(e) Chronic and catastrophic cases requiring prolonged admission.
