This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at: https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/

VP Leni asks Aklanons: ‘Sana 'yung botong binigay niyo sa akin noong 2016, doblehin niyo pa ngayong 2022’

    VP Leni asks Aklanons:

‘Sana 'yung botong binigay niyo sa akin noong 2016, doblehin niyo pa ngayong 2022’

With six days left before the elections, presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo expressed hope that Aklanons will once again help her win, just as they had put their trust and confidence in her six years ago.

Speaking at the “Rosas de Mayo (Pink Festival)” event held at the Northwestern Visayan Colleges in Kalibo, Robredo told supporters that Aklan gave her a huge victory in the 2016 national elections, grateful for the trust Aklanons gave her despite her being relatively new to politics.

“Noong 2016 binigyan niyo ako dito ng napakalaking panalo. Noong 2016, nagtiwala kayo sa akin kahit wala pa ako masyadong resibo,” she said on Tuesday, May 3.

She returned to Aklan with plenty of her “resibo”, allowing her to confidently say that she has not failed those who voted for her in the vice presidential elections.

“Maraming, maraming salamat. Sana 'yung botong binigay niyo sa akin noong 2016, doblehin niyo pa ngayong 2022,” Robredo said, as the crowd cheered.

Robredo also asked her supporters, in the homestretch of the campaign, to exert all remaining efforts to convince those still undecided to switch to her and running mate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, for good and honest governance in the next six years.

“Limang araw na lang. Kung nagsipag tayo doon sa nakaraang ilang buwan, 'yung lahat na puwede natin i-hirit para makakumbinsi pa, 'yung pagbantay natin na sana 'yung mga nagbabalak ng hindi maganda, hindi natin pabuweluhin,” she said.

The presidential candidate added that she hopes everyone who would vote for her would also support Pangilinan, saying: “Sana po kung tutulungan niyo ako, wag lang ako, pero siguraduhin natin na sa bawat Lening boto ninyo, Kiko ang inyong Vice President.” [End]
