Seven envoys meet VP Sara

MANDALUYONG CITY — Seven foreign ambassadors on Wednesday met with Vice President Sara Duterte.

Japanese Ambassador His Excellency Kazuhiko Koshikawa, New Zealander Ambassador His Excellency Peter Kell, Thai Ambassador His Excellency Tull Traisorat, European Ambassador His Excellency Vèron, Qatari Ambassador His Excellency Dr. Ali Ibrahim Al-Malki, Indian Ambassador His Excellency Shambhu Kumaran, and American Ambassador Her Excellency MaryKay Loss Carlson, were the dignitaries who expressed support to the government’s programs which are aimed at revitalising the economy post-pandemic.

The seven diplomats also reaffirmed their commitment in strengthening the bilateral relations between their respective countries and the Philippines.

The envoys and the Vice President were able to exchange insights on how our countries could heighten partnerships in the areas of investment, trade, infrastructure development, among others.

All the envoys have also discussed respective educational systems and how their countries responded to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic in the academic institutions especially students.

Duterte is also the Secretary of Education.
