OVP Seal Receives Official Approval From Malacañang

16 October 2023, Mandaluyong City – The Office of the Vice President (OVP) is pleased to announce that, with the recommendation of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), the Office of the President (OP) has granted official approval to the Seal of the Office of the Vice President. While the OVP has been utilizing this seal in the past, the formal approval process was initiated and completed during the term of Vice President Sara Z. Duterte.

This NHCP-sanctioned endorsement marks a significant milestone for the OVP as it establishes a distinct seal, separate from the heraldry associated with the Vice President, as outlined in Executive Order No. 310, series of 2004.

The OVP Seal stands as a powerful emblem, symbolizing the institution's pivotal role within the Philippine government and its unwavering commitment to delivering efficient, accessible, and responsive public services and programs for the good of all Filipinos.

The OVP extends its appreciation to the OP for approving our request and to the NHCP for their invaluable support throughout the comprehensive approval process.
