The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 recertification.
The OVP was first certified for its Quality Management System (QMS) in 2017. It received recertification in 2020. Last year, the OVP also underwent a surveillance audit to ensure continued adherence to the standards established when it first received ISO certification. On December 6, the OVP underwent recertification sessions with TUV Rheinland auditors. This time, with both Davao and Panay & Negros Islands Satellite Offices participating in the process for the first time.
A three-year recertification was once again awarded to the OVP, now with the Davao and Panay & Negros Islands Satellite Offices included. The audit process included a rigorous review of internal processes, along with a test of familiarity with the QMS. Representatives from the OVP staff presented documents, systems, and accomplishment reports. The ISO certification is bestowed upon organizations that demonstrate the ability to provide services of high quality while adhering to government laws and regulations. This reaffirms the OVP's commitment to deliver meaningful and excellent public service — Para sa Diyos, Bayan, at bawat Pamilyang Pilipino.
