SAN MIGUEL, Bulacan — The Office of the Vice President’s Disaster Operations Center (OVP-DOC) on Tuesday launched relief operations here for the typhoon-affected Bulakenyos.
The OVP-DOC team, together with the Philippine Coast Guard details and volunteers from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) led the relief operations in the area to deliver food packs, medicines, canned goods, and other supplies to the residents.
OVP-DOC Head Eymard Eje, said the Vice President sent the relief packs to help in the recovery of those who were affected by the typhoon.
San Miguel Mayor Roderick Tiongson also thanked the Office of the Vice President for supporting the town especially after the onslaught of Super Typhoon 'Karding' that struck Bulacan and nearby Northern Luzon areas on Sept. 25.
