2,925 informal settler families (ISFs) in 20 housing sites nationwide will soon enjoy the benefits of home ownership following the approval of their housing loan application under Social Housing Finance Corporation’s (SHFC) Community Mortgage Program (CMP) and High Density Housing Program (HDH).
The housing projects, equivalent to P271.80 million, were approved during the first SHFC board meeting last October 26 presided by Vice President and Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Chairperson Leni Robredo.

Robredo, who concurrently sits as Chairperson of the SHFC Board, said 66% of the total CMP loan or P165.80 million would be used for lot acquisition.
The remaining 34% or P85.74 million will be used for additional lot acquisition, site development, and house construction for off-site projects for ISFs relocating to a property and location of their choice.
