The Japanese Minister for Health, Labor, and Welfare, in a meeting with Vice President Sara Duterte, said Japan needs more Filipino workers.
Mr. Katsunobu Kato revealed that 54.7 percent of Filipinos who took the exam for caregivers last March passed, the highest score obtained by Filipino examinees in the past 10 years.
Also discussed were the strengthening of education as the foundation of our country's strength and security, Japan's technical internship for Filipinos, and the Philippines-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (PJEPA).
