Interview with Vice President Leni Robredo in Davao

    17 August 2016

Q: On her first 50 days as VP

Iyong isang challenge is that HUDCC is a coordinating council, hindi siya department kaya marami kaming hindi nagagawa.

Pero exciting din in the sense na dahil alam mo marami kang gagawin at maraming challenges napipilitan kang magthink out of the box.

Iyong kagandahan nito, ang mga kasamahan ko sa gabinete very supportive, si Presidente mismo very supportive, kaya tingin ko ang gusto naming magawa, magagawa namin in the next six years.

Q: On her programs in HUDCC

For the longest time kasi maraming programa pero hindi klaro ang direksiyon.

So pareho ang aming paniniwala. Kahit maraming balakid, magiging posible.

Q: Statement on the death anniversary of Sec. Jesse

VP Leni: Tomorrow 4th death anniversary ni Jesse kaya nagpaalam ako kay Presidente na I will be here until today lang at kailangan kong bumalik sa Manila ngayong hapon kasi tonight I need to catch the bus pauwi sa amin kasi alas siyete ng umaga iyong misa para sa asawa ko.

Kasi iyong August 18 has been declared by the City of Naga as Jesse Robredo day.

Iiwan ko staff ko, sabi ko nga masyadong timing sa summit I would have wanted to stay until tomorrow pero kailangan ko na bumalik ngayong hapon.
