Agusan del Sur vows to give Robredo another landslide win

Vice President Leni Robredo capped off her campaign in Mindanao with a grand rally in Agusan del Sur, which vowed to replicate on May 9 the landslide victory it gave her in the 2016 vice presidential election.

In Prosperidad on Thursday, May 5, the crowd at the “Angat Buhay Agusan Del Sur: Liyag para kay Leni” grand rally at the Datu Lipus Makapandong Cultural Center was more than 70,000 strong.

“‘Liyag’ – it’s a Manobo word. Ibig sabihin po pagmamahal namin sa ‘yo bilang Bise Presidente,” Agusan del Sur 2nd District Representative Adol...

VP Leni: “Wala akong laban na naging madali”

Her presidential campaign has not been an easy road, but then again, she’s never had any easy victories, Vice President Leni Robredo said on Thursday, May 5, in Misamis Occidental.

But Robredo treasures the tough battles she’s had since joining politics nearly a decade ago. Her experiences made her the best public servant she could be to the people.

“Wala akong laban na naging madali. Hindi ako naging kontento kung hindi mahirap ang laban, dahil ang aking palagay, ang pinakamahuhusay na public servants galing sa pinakamahihirap na laban dahil naramd...

With six days left before the elections, presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo expressed hope that Aklanons will once again help her win, just as they had put their trust and confidence in her six years ago.

Speaking at the “Rosas de Mayo (Pink Festival)” event held at the Northwestern Visayan Colleges in Kalibo, Robredo told supporters that Aklan gave her a huge victory in the 2016 national elections, grateful for the trust Aklanons gave her despite her being relatively new to...
