Message of Vice President Leni Robredo for Christmas 2021
[English Version]
Merry Christmas to you all from our family and from the Office of the Vice President.
The past year has not been easy. Many are just now attempting to start over after the challenges brought by the pandemic. This past week saw more hardship in the devastation brought by typhoon Odette. There will be those among us who will celebrate Christmas without the presence of their loved ones.

Pahayag ni VP Leni Robredo para sa Araw ng Pasko

Simula pa lang ito. Ipapanalo nat...

ON THE CONFERMENT OF THE NOBEL PRIZE ON MARIA RESSA
I join the world in honoring Maria Ressa, and I join the rest of the nation in pride as we celebrate the first Filipina Nobel Laureate.
Maria was honored not only for telling the truth; she won the Nobel for carrying that truth forward in the face of harassment and abuse and an entire ecosystem built to strip it of its power. In this, she reflects the highest ideals not only of journalism, not only of our people, but of all humanity: Courage in service of others.
May she serve as an example in standing ...

Statement of Vice President Leni Robredo on International Human Rights Day 2021
As we celebrate International Human Rights Day on the 73rd anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we are reminded of our common humanity— that regardless of race, color, religion, gender, we are a single human family, bound by a shared commitment to build a better and fairer world for all.
We can accomplish this by relentlessly standing up for our rights, and the rights of others, at every opportunity. It also calls for empathy and fellowship, put into practice by the work of loop...
