Filipino UN retirees back VP Leni’s presidential bid
A group of Filipinos who have retired from the United Nations (UN) system has endorsed the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo, saying that her “courage to stand up for the truth”, “unblemished record of accountability”, “humility”, and “genuine concern for people’s well-being and empowerment will be the beacon for her governance as President.”

VP Leni: Rushed modernization of Metro Manila’s public transport system burden commuters and transport sector workers
The road to better public transportation in Metro Manila might be paved with good intentions but railroading it in the middle of the pandemic could only leave the commuters worse than it was before, Vice President Leni Robredo said on Friday, February 18.
